He wanted to prevent any more nightmares that the littluns might have had if he had called an assembly and spoken about the beast.

No one seems to ever listen to his ideas about sensibility. We think his anger is justified because pointless things lke throwing rocks won't get you rescued and that should be the objective among the boys.
